Baring Bloodstock runs from two magnificent equine properties set on over 320 acres of rich soils along Biddaddaba Creek & the Albert River at Boyland.
The two properties originally named “Goron Toron Stud” & “Lake View Stud” had previous owners that specialised in breeding Thoroughbreds, Warmbloods and Polo horses.

AGISTMENT
Our paddocks are much larger than average, which means we are able to create conditions for young horses to grow in a natural environment that maximizes the individual development of each horse.
Both farms have a range of paddocks available for use, depending on your horse’s needs. If you’re looking for the very best agistment in QLD then our Biddaddaba property has everything you could ever wish for.
FOALING
Our resident vet Dr Ben Purtle, BVSc (Qld) is also on call 24/7 for any emergency issues that arise through foaling.

BREEDING
Baring Bloodstock offers a fixed fee package for the breeding season for its 75 resident mares. Our facilities are first rate and are perfectly set to ensure mares are giving every opportunity to get back in foal in a timely manner. Baring Bloodstock achieved an industry leading 97% positive rate for the 21/22 season.
FOALS & WEANING
Weanlings receive hands-on, individual attention that helps them learn quickly. It is an education that prepares them for their next stage, whether it be as a sales yearling or breaking-in and lays the foundations for their careers as racehorses.
